The manager is 23 and grew up in the BBQ ribs business.

Now only two weeks old, Dynasty Hibachi Sushi Seafood Buffet’s business is growing daily, manager Jon Roper said.

The new 330-seat restaurant is in Richmond Heights between the AMC Esquire 7 and Applebee’s.

Roper is 23 and said he grew up in the business. His parents own Roper’s Ribs, in Jennings. The owner of Dynasty also owns China King, in University City.

Dynasty is open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. At any given time there are approximately 70 items in the buffet.

For lunch, ($7.99) Roper said there can be mixed vegetables, Chinese broccoli, stuffed mushrooms, coconut shrimp, honey chicken, sushi (made fresh daily), eel, salmon, shrimp tempura, California roll, caterpillar roll and tuna.

There’s also New York steak, shrimp, chicken, beef, pork, green peppers, green onions, dessert and fruit.

He said dinner ($11.99) has more seafood items, such as crab and ginger, and various fishes. The sushi changes for dinner too.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday there’s a seafood buffet ($19.99) that includes lobster and snow crab.

They offer senior citizen discounts, and also take-out by the pound.
