Blueberry Hill: Countdown to 40

The Delmar Loop landmark will celebrate its 40th anniversary on Sept. 8.

kicked off the 40 day countdown to its 40th anniversary Tuesday with the announcement of a fan video contest of the song Blueberry Hill. 

Participants must send Blueberry Hill a link to a YouTube video of them singing a version of Blueberry Hill, made famous by Fats Domino. Blueberry Hill will post the entries on its Facebook page under the YouTube tab.

The top four videos with the most likes will win the chance to perform on the Duck Room stage the evening of their anniversary bash on Sept. 8. Winners will also receive Blueberry Hill gift certificates and 1st place will get a bowling party at Pin Up Bowl. New contests, specials and more will be announced daily on Blueberry Hill's Facebook page.

Prizes include:

  • 1st Place — Party for up to 10 friends at the Pin-Up Bowl in The Loop. Free bowling and shoe rental for two hours plus one beverage each and a $100 gift certificate to Blueberry Hill. 
  • 2nd Place — $50 gift certificate to Blueberry Hill 
  • 3rd Place — $40 gift certificate to Blueberry Hill 
  • 4th Place — $20 gift certificate to Blueberry Hill 

Located on “One of the Ten Great Streets in America” along the , Blueberry Hill is a nationally recognized landmark restaurant and music club filled with pop culture memorabilia.

Blueberry Hill features live music by national and local bands, including monthly performances by rock & roll legend Chuck Berry.
