Blueberry Hill Celebrates 40 Years in Style

celebrated 40 years in the Delmar Loop Saturday, Sept. 8, with a bash that celebrated its history and looked to the future.

Film clips of opening night were shown while guests in the Duck Room party were asked to write notes for a time capsule to be opened on Blueberry Hill's 50th anniversary in 2022. 

In the 40 days before the 40th anniversary, the restaurant and bar held several different contests. The winners are listed below. 

Best video of "Blueberry Hill" contest

• 1st place: Clockwork. The group won a party for up to 10 friends at the Pin-Up Bowl. Free bowling and shoe rental for two hours plus one beverage each and a $100 gift certificate to Blueberry Hill.
• 2nd place: John Maxfield. Maxfield won a $50 gift certificate to Blueberry Hill.

Be a celebrity for a year!

Contestants took a picture with Joe Edwards and posted it on Blueberry Hill's Facebook page. One picture, chosen by Blueberry Hill employees, was framed. It will remain up on Blueberry Hill's walls for a year!
