Why is the Avalon Exchange Mannequin Dressed for Paris?

The University City shop keeps its mannequins current with the trends.

You don't need to travel to Paris to keep up with the latest fashions. Just window shop Avalon Exchange.

The window is the vintage clothing shop's chief advertisement, and the mannequins' clothes are changed every Wednesday to stay current.

"Paris Fashion Week just ended, and one of the runway shows we really liked was the Valentino Show," Manager Jessie Oates said. "We tried to do our version of that, to show so you could get stuff here that is like things you see at fashion week but at a fraction of the price."

She said the theme of the week can also relate to a holiday.

"St. Patrick's Day is coming up so we might make things green," Oates said.
