Canceled: 2012 Get Your Chalk On!
Organizers had hoped to find an alternative date after the original Labor Day weekend dates were rained out.
The Delmar Loop has canceled the 2012 event. The event slated for Sept. 1 with a rain date of Sunday, Sept. 2, was rained out due to torrential rains.
Organizers had hoped to find an alternative date to hold the event this fall.
Today the Loop Special Business District released the following statement:

Thank you to everyone who signed up for Get Your Chalk On! Unfortunately, due to the unforeseen weather conditions we were forced to cancel this event. All participation fees will be refunded to participants who pre-registered on for this event in the next 24 hours. We look forward to seeing everyone in 2013!
