YWCA Summer Camp Opens

The YWCA Camp Derricotte is open for eight weeks this summer and offers adventures for boys and girls between the ages of 5-12, from June 6 through July 27.

Campers are provided opportunities to learn about healthy habits, create arts and crafts, attend field trips, and recreational activities such as playing games and swimming, and enhancing social skills. Additionally, all children will receive age-appropriate lessons on racial justice and anti-bias, a mission area of YWCA.

The camp is offered at two locations in St. Louis City and County, operating from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. The camp fee for full time is $115 per week for each child. Additional fee are available to meet a variety of family schedules. Applications for financial assistance are available. The camps welcome qualifying families through the Department of Social Services (DSS). Early registration discounts are available through April 30.
