Walk of Fame: William Holden's Star Unveiling Is Today

Oscar-winning actor and O'Fallon, IL. native William Holden joins a prestigious group of celebrities today when his star is added to the .
The St. Louis Walk of Fame is located on Delmar sidewalks in the Loop. Plaques of famous St. Louisians in politics, entertainment, science and sports are displayed.

The ceremony to dedicate Holden's star will be held at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 9 at 6150 Delmar, across from the Moonrise Hotel.
Brian Keller, president of the O’Fallon Historical Society, will accept the award. Holden died in 1981.
