The spring concert begins today at 3 p.m.

The University City Symphony Orchestra will hold a free concert today at 3 p.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in University City.

The public is invited.

“We are always pleased to have the University City Symphony play at our church,” said Monsignor Michael Witt, pastor at All Saints, said in a press release. “We want to invite everyone in the community to come hear a wonderful concert.”

The University City Symphony is in its 52nd season. Dr. Leon Burke III is the Symphony’s Music Director and Conductor. Burke is also the Assistant Conductor of the St. Louis Symphony Chorus and an adjunct faculty member at East Central College in Union, MO.

The All Saints concert program will include Franz Joseph Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass and selections to be performed by the East Central Choral Association and the East Central College Choir.

Concert goers are invited for refreshments after the concert in Ryan Hall, next to the church.
