Summer Band Concert in the Loop Starts Tuesday

Get out and see one of the many free concerts in University City.

Summer in University City means live music outdoors.

The Summer Band Concerts are held on Tuesday nights next to Market Pub House in the Delmar Loop. All concerts start at 7 p.m. and last about 80 minutes with a short intermission.

Bring a lawn chair as available seating is limited.

This year's lineup includes:

  • June 18 —Decades
  • June 25 — Americana 1863-2013
  • July 2 — No Concert 
  • July 9 —Comedy Drew Thompson, Bassoon soloist 
  • July 16 — Watermusic 
  • July 23 — Jazz/Pops
Starlight Concert Series

All concerts will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the south side of Heman Park (Midland/Shaftsbury entrance) on Monday nights. They are free and open to the public and are sponsored by the University City Municipal Commission on Arts and Letters and the City of University City.  

Concerts include: 
  • June 17: Tiffany Elle 
  • June 24: Velvet
  • July 1: Fat Pocket
  • July 8: Mystic Voyage  
  • July 15:  Jim Stevens  
  • July 22: Anita Jackson 
  • July 29: Grand Elite  
  • August 5: Heather Dawn Band
