Student Film to Premiere at Star Clipper

Webster University student's film premieres Thursday in the Loop.

film student Tyler DePerro will hold the St. Louis premiere of his senior film project Thursday, May 10, at in the Delmar Loop.

The screening of DeParro's short film SPECTACLES will begin at 7 p.m.

According to wearemoviegeeks.com, SPECTACLES tells the story of a struggling actor who gets inspiration from a pair of 3D glasses his grandfather gives him. Once he puts on the glasses he has superhero powers and he is transported into three different movie scenarios.

Director DePerro will be at Star Clipper to introduce the film and illustrator Marie Enger will be doing in-store drawings of audience members in a 1 of 3 movie genres styles of their choice: noir, zombie, or western, according to the web site.
