Margaret Hermes to Read at the U City Public Library

Event will be held Thursday, March 29.

Author Margaret Hermes is coming to University City. 

On Thursday, March 29, at 7 p.m., the and will present a reading by Margaret Hermes at the library. 

Her new collection of short stories, Relative Strangers, won the 2011 Doris Bakwin Award and was published by Carolina Wren Press in 2011. Her stories and essays have appeared in The Missouri Review, New Millennium, The Literary Review, and in anthologies such as 20 Over 40, and Under the Arch.

Hermes grew up in Chicago and lives in St. Louis. She is the author of the novel The Phoenix Nest. Copies of Relative Strangers will be available for purchase and signing after the reading.
