Get Out: Watch the Oscars, Adopt a Pet or See a Show

A look at events in and around University City this weekend.

Each week University City Patch brings you a roundup of things to do in and around U City. Here are some ideas for the weekend of Feb. 24-26.

Friday

  • Celebration Day: A Tribute to Led Zepplin at — The doors open at 7 p.m. for an 8 p.m. show. Tickets are $17.50 in advance and $20 at the door.
  • Bruiser Queen Blackwell and Ross Christopher at — Doors open at 8 p.m. for a 9 p.m. show. There is a $7 cover charge.

Saturday

  • Hello Kitty pet adoption event — 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at
  • Eric Roberson is holding a meet and greet at at 4 p.m.
  • Dear GenreFight for Midnight and Nova Wild at  — The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $8. The event is restricted to 17 and over.
  • The Jeremiah Johnson Band with The Sliders at — 8 p.m.
  • Stilline Revence, Ruby Armada and Deep Thump at Blueberry Hill — Doors open at 8 p.m. for a 9 p.m. show. There is a $12 cover charge.

All Weekend

  • Working Women's Survival Show — Friday through Sunday at the St. Charles Convention Center. See .

This group, with extensive collaboration between governmental agencies, private landowners and citizens, creates interconntected trails throughout our region!
