'Fire in the Ashes' Tops This Week's Bestseller List

Jonathan Kozol's book is this week's bestseller at St. Louis area independent book stores.

Fire in the Ashes: Twenty-Five Years Among the Poorest Children in America is the top read among adults for the week ending Sept. 2, according to the St. Louis Independent Bookstore Alliance.

The bookstores include  in University City, Left Bank Books in the Central West End,  in St. Charles and  in Webster Groves.
