University City resident Susan Rava discusses her book "Swimming Solo" at the University City Public Library.
"Swimming Solo" is the story of a 14-year journey with Alzheimer's Disease, which claimed both Susan's parents and her husband's parents. From the first suspicion that her father-in-law, Paul, was facing this challenge, to the death of her mother, Susan shared the journey she and her husband embarked upon one beautiful July afternoon when Paul set out to swim solo across Lake Michigan."
