Senior Connections 6th Annual Wine & Cheese Social

The Singer Institute will host the 6th Annual Wine & Cheese Social to honor Senior Connections Relational Volunteers-the kind and caring people of our community who have provided a lifetime of companionship to hundreds of lonely seniors in nursing homes throughout the St. Louis Area. Currently 124 Relational Volunteers will make approximately 5,000 visits this year to 134 residents in 45 facilities. The Wine & Cheese Social will take place at the Brentmoor Retirement Community located at 8600 Del Mar Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63124. KSDK Reporter Heidi Glaus will emcee the event, music will be provided by Terry Thompson Productions, and remarkable caricature artist "Cher" Sharon Faerber will delight all with her renderings of the attendees. Dr. John Morris will address the gathering on "Can Alzheimers be Prevented?" A silent auction and 50/50 raffle are also scheduled.

There is no charge to attend but please call the Singer Institute at (314) 727-9202 to place your reservation.
