Relative Strangers Reception/Book Signing

Subterranean Books and the University City Public Library are pleased to present a reading and reception by award winning local writer Margaret Hermes.

Hermes' collection of short stories, Relative Strangers, is a powerful collection of well-written adventures that deal with the common themes of alienation, change, love, family, loss and survival in richly compelling ways.

This vivid collection creates an experience of reading that meshes perfectly with her unique literary voice and adept storytelling.

Hermes is the winner of  the 2011 Doris Bakwin Award for Writing by a Woman.
