Open Call – Quilters

Students ages 11-18 are invited to audition for the COCA Theatre Company (CTC) production of Quilters directed by Chris Limber. Written by Molly Newman and Barbara Damashek, this moving celebration of American womanhood combines music, dance movement and scenes of dramatic intensity and was a record-setting regional theatre success before presentations on Broadway and at the Edinburgh Festival.

Auditions are August 10 from 4:00-6:00pm and August 11 from 12:00-3:00pm. Students should bring a resume and photo and prepare one monologue and 32 bars of a song. Rehearsals begin August 19. Performances are October 12-13, 2012.

Reserve an audition time by sending your name, the show name and your preferred audition time to registration@cocastl.org. Students cast will be asked to pay a participation fee of $195.
