First Annual Outdoor Swing Dance and Art Fest-Maya Cafe in Maplewood

On Sunday September 18, 2011 from 2- 9 pm the Maya Café is having it's First Annual Outdoor Swing Dance and Art Fest.

Miss Jubilee will perform from 2 -5 pm. If you are not familiar with this band they perform hot dance jazz and are well known in the swing dance community. Lindyhopstl, who hosts our Third Friday Swing Nights and gives free swing dance lessons is promoting the event and are excited about having the only outdoor swing dance event in St Louis. We will have a wood dance floor on our outside deck. Box of Nerves, another local band, will perform from 5 - 8 pm.

The bands will perform on the deck of our 42' Michigan fishing trawler that is part of our outdoor dining area.

And don't miss art by twenty local St. Louis artists.
