'Allegory' - mixed media paintings by Arlene Ligori

Just in time for Spring, Northwest Coffee exhibits Arlene Ligori's fun and whimsical fine art pieces during March and April! Opening Reception: Saturday, April 7 from 6-8 p.m. is free and open to the public.

Ligori is an accomplished Graphic Designer and Illustrator. Her current paintings continue to be influenced by her love of city living as well as her design and illustration career. Arlene Ligori's work has been shown all over the US, including New York, Chicago and is currently represented by a gallery in Charleston, SC.

When viewing Ligori's work, people often ask, "Is it Glass? Is it Ceramic? How long do you bake it? They are amazed when they hear that it is a process that I have created using acrylic paints, image transfers, dyes, patinas, resin and spray paint." Also, currently for sale are Giclee prints on fine art rag paper, and new cutouts on Birchwood panels and Plexiglas.
