Artist Sees Beauty in Parking Lot
The painter, who shows his work at Componere Gallery, said he likes painting urban landscapes.
Webster Groves artist Scott Petty found a shady spot in the Marietta parking lot, in Maplewood, to set up his easel for some fresh air painting last weekend. He said he painted the clouds first, because they tend to change the quickest.
Patch caught Petty about two hours into this painting. It shows the backs of , , , and other Manchester Road businesses.
