University City Resident Appointed to ABA Pro Bono Standards Review Team

University City resident Dan Glazier has been appointed to a committee that will review and revise the American Bar Association's (ABA) Pro Bono Standards.

Glazier currently serves as executive director and general council for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri (LSEM), a nonprofit law firm that offers civil legal services to those who can’t afford them in 21 counties in Eastern Missouri. Glazier works out of the St. Louis city office.

The ABA's Pro Bono Standards Review Team will be tasked with updating the ABA’s “Standards for Programs Providing Civil Legal Services to Persons of Limited Means.”

Legal Services of Eastern Missouri provides representation to people facing homelessness due to eviction or foreclose and to the homeless who need social services. LSEM also helps represent victims of domestic violence, immigrants, the aged, special-needs children and consumers.

It's good to read positive articles about citizens from University City. Congratulation's Attorney Glazier! His tenure with Legal Services should make him an excellent voice with the review/revise committee.
