U City Resident Honored for Legal Work With Low-Income Community

Carrie Hermeling received The Robert Walston Chubb Award, which is given to individuals who have made an outstanding commitment to providing equal access to justice.

Carrie Hermeling, a lawyer and University City resident, has been recognized for her legal work with low-income individuals.

Hermeling was among those honored by the Legal Services of Eastern Missouri at a reception last month. She received The Robert Walston Chubb Award, which is given to individuals who have made an outstanding commitment to providing equal access to justice.

Hermeling is a partner at Husch Blackwell. She presently serves as co-chair of the LSEM 2011 Annual Bar Campaign.

Legal Services of Eastern Missouri (LSEM) is an independent, non-profit organization that has provided legal assistance in civil cases to the low-income community for more than 50 years.
