Travel Writer Eats All St. Louis' Best Foods in 36 Hours

Geoff Burton, a writer with Cinematrek Travel News, attempted this feat after four St. Louis natives challenged him.

Could you do it? Eat at each of St. Louis' best food locations in less than two days.

Geoff Burton, a writer with Cinematrek Travel News, attempted this feat after his friends, four St. Louis natives, challenged him.

Burton flew in from out-of-town and moments after touching down, he experienced a Blueberry Hill burger in The Loop.

He also stopped by The Moonrise Hotel and Fitz's Root Beer before heading to other well-known St. Louis staples.

I must warn, going in Burton had little faith in St. Louis cuisine, but I think it changed by the time he boarded his return flight to Chicago.

"Hmph, I mean I can see chug-a-lugging some beers with brats maybe or chowing down on some Saint Louis style ribs, but as far as I was concerned when I think of destinations with a wide selection of unique foods I don't think of Saint Louis," he wrote. "I think of Chicago, Paris France, New Orleans, Bologne Italy... but not Saint Louis."
