The meeting comes after several residents have requested a public hearing from the city. Citizens have come to the past two city council meetings to voice concerns and ask the city for details on the plan.

An ordinance by the St. Louis County Council to revise the arterial road system, removing Delmar Blvd. from the County's jurisdiction and returning it to the city was before the County Council Tuesday. Currently Delmar in the Loop is a county arterial road until the St. Louis city line.
