Help Local Police, Firefighters at Darts for Safety Tourney

The event to raise funds for Backstoppers is today at Blueberry Hill.

University City takes care of its own. After University City Police Sgt. Mike King was killed in the line of duty while patroling the Delmar Loop October 31, 2008, two local men decided to help.

The Professional Firefighters of University City Local 2665 will hold the second Darts for Safety Tournament on April 27 at Blueberry Hill. The event begins at noon.
