Get Free Fright Fest Ticket by Donating Blood

Be among the first 200 to donate blood Saturday at the South County Mall and earn a free, one-day admission ticket to Six Flags St. Louis in Eureka—good for annual Halloween celebration under way now.

The first 200 people who donate blood Saturday at a Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) blood drive will receive a free, one-day admission ticket to Six Flags St. Louis, courtesy of the theme park's managers.

The "Fright Fest" blood drive is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 13. The mall is located near the intersection of Interstates 55 and 270 on Lindbergh Boulevard. To schedule an appointment to donate, call 800-591-8049, 314-291-4741 or click here.

The Six Flags ticket is valid through Oct. 28, 2102, during Six Flags’ annual Fright Fest Halloween Celebration.

“We definitely want Fright Fest to be scary, but we do not want low blood supplies in the region to be a scare,” said Elizabeth Gotway, Six Flags St. Louis public relations manager. “That is why we have teamed up once again with MVRBC to support them in their efforts to provide blood products for hospitals in our region. We encourage all who can to donate blood, and then join us at Fright Fest where Six Flags will donate the screams.”

MVRBC is the provider of blood and blood components to 18 St. Louis and Metro East hospitals and many others throughout our region. All persons age 17 years and up (or 16, with a signed parental permission form) who weigh at least 110 pounds, and are in good health, meet the basic eligibility requirements for blood donation.

Congratulations for the GRG, including all hardworking employees, Board members-volunteers and theRead More taxpayers who had the foresight to create such a worthwhile taxing district.
