Free Story Time and Art Exhibit for the Frugal Families
A Tennessee Williams film, art, music, museums and pasta are free or discounted for Patch's frugal families this week.
FIERY POOL: THE MAYA AND THE MYTHIC SEA EXHIBIT
Good through: Fridays. The exhibit will be at the St. Louis Art Museum until May 8.
Deal: The exhibit is free for children younger than 6, free to museum members every day, and free to all on Fridays. The Maya and the Mythic Sea offers an education of the ancient Mayan culture with a vast number of works never before exhibited in the United States.

Searching for Tom is an exploration of Tennessee Williams time in St. Louis, from the ages of 7 to 20. It is a time in his life he did not include in his autobiography. His time in St. Louis had a great influence on his writings and was where he first saw his works published and plays produced. This peek into Williams life is made possible through interviews with classmate former Washington University classmate A.E. Hotchner and scholars of his work. Join filmmakers Angela Antkowiak, and Jim Kirchherr and HECTV’s Dennis Riggs for the screening of Searching for Tom, one of the greatest playwrights of our time.
