Free Blood Pressure Checks Friday at Centennial Commons

February 1 is national Go Red for Women Day.

Statistics for women and heart disease aren't pretty. Did you know:

  • Women are less likely to seek treatment, less likely to receive needed therapies and more likely to be charged higher health care premiums than men.
  • Heart disease remains to be the leading killer of American women, and this disease affects one in three women.

University City's Centennial Commons wants to be a part of the solution.

On Friday, Feb. 1, ladies and gentlemen are asked to wear red for the 10th Annual National Go Red for Women Day to stand with women in the fight against their number one killer: heart disease.
