Greenway Habitat Exploration and Improvement

Come out and join the River des Peres Watershed Coalition in exploring the great outdoors in this event for explorers of all ages! We will see what kinds of plant and wildlife are living in our habitat improvement area at Mona Terrace. Mona Terrace is located near 1090 Groby Road at the Great Rivers Greenway bike trail. This event will feature exploring the River des Peres for macroinvertebrates (creatures that live in the water), bird sighting and identification, plant identification and you can even help in the restoration by planting native flowering plants. This event is run in partnership with the Great Rivers Greenway District. We have a morning session and an afternoon session, but space is limited, so please register on-line at: www.riverdesperes.org. For more information please contact Theodore M. Smith at (314)640-2429.
