University City hosted an outdoor movie night at Heman Park on Saturday evening. Several food trucks were on hand, selling everything from funnel cakes to hotdogs and fries. The Barbara Jordan PTO sold candy and freshly popped popcorn.

Around 8 p.m. families sat down to watch the sci-fi kids classic "E.T."
