Correction to Dates for Bulk Item Collection in 2011 University City Calendar
The 2011 U City calendar incorrectly states bulk item collection will happen in April. In fact, it will take place in May.
The 2011 University City calendar incorrectly states that bulk item collection for residents will be in April. It should say May. The erroneous dates are listed on the second to last page of the calendar, which lists all of the various recycling schedules for University City. The body of the calendar is correct, with dates for bulk item collection in the May calendar.
The following is the CORRECT dates for the bulk item collection schedule:
WEST AREA:
May 16-20
Sept. 26-30

The 2011 U City calendars have been problem plagued. The City contracted with a new direct mail company that apparently missed one of the U City zip codes. Residents received them late or not at all, while many residents in Ladue, Olivette and Clayton received one.
Last week, Walker told University City Patch that the City's legal council continues to pursue the calendar matter in hopes of recouping some of the City's money.
