MLK50

On Saturday, August 24, the St. Louis Reconciliation Network will host “MLK50” in downtown St. Louis, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech. We’ll begin at 10 am in Kiener Plaza, in the shadow of the Dred Scott decision. Listeners will reflect on Dr. King’s original speech, music, and comments from local dignitaries. Then we’ll march 7 blocks over to Christ Church Cathedral –where Dr. King once preached – for a festive time of fellowship, food, and more music.

The mission of the St. Louis Reconciliation Network is to heal the broken race relations of our region by harnessing the potential collective power of its diverse faith communities. Learn more by connecting to the Network on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/STLRN) or by phone at: (314) 409-7123.
