Venerable Guo Chan fashi and Chang Ji fashi are ordained nuns in the Chinese Mahayana tradition of Buddhism. They both participated in many international conferences on the themes of Spiritual Environmentalism, peace, education and youth in the countries of Jordan, USA, Africa, India and Europe. Chang Ji fashi has been a participant and facilitator in programs organized by the Global Peace Initiative of Women (GRIW) for young leaders in conflict and post-conflict areas from Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan and Cambodia in the fields of interfaith and NGOs to continue the legacy of the late Venerable Master Sheng Yen, founder of Dharma Drum Mountain Buddhist Association, in sharing the wisdom and compassion of Buddhism with people around the world.

Pure Mind Center is a Buddhist library and community center affiliated with the Dharma Drum Mountain Buddhist Association. It features a collection of more than 1,000 books on Buddhism in Chinese and 200 in English. It also hosts Sunday programs on topics such as contemplation and inner peace.
