  Louis and now lives on the island of Kauai. Her creativity as a painter
  is deeply linked with her meditation. As a practitioner of Vipassana fo
 r many years\, Roshani at times attends long silent retreats in India an
 d other parts of the world.\nRoshani&rsquo\;s paintings express the sile
 nce and joy happening in her innermost being. She conveys her experience
 s in meditation through the play of colors and light in her paintings. H
 er paintings are not just the sum total of the colors\, they are more\, 
 much more &ndash\; and that &lsquo\;more&rsquo\; is the meaning experien

 died visual merchandising at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchan
 dising in San   Francisco. She also studied the influences of color on p
 eople and environment at The Color Research Institute in San Francisco w
 ith Ruth Strock. She is a certified color consultant and has an extensiv
