Tesseract Theatre proudly presents a workshop production of A THING WITH FEATHERS by playwright Kevin Ferguson.
A grandmother struggles to shelter her teen-age granddaughter from the devastating effects of maternal alcoholism.
Birdie Weaver prepares her granddaughter Hope for prom and graduation while she struggles with the effects of her daughter Mary Elizabeth's alcoholism. As pressures mount and secrets spill, the cracks in the three women's relationships become too large for Birdie to manage and threaten to destroy her family.
This show will also be held on Sunday, November 18th at 4pm.

The Regional Art Commission (RAC) is a cultural catalyst in the St. Louis area, providing financial, technical, promotional and other support for arts organizations. RAC aims to promote and encourage art and cultural institutions in St. Louis City and County and to contribute to the economic development of the area. RAC's mission is to create an environment that nurtures artists as well as arts and cultural organizations. The organization also rents out space in the building for parties, meetings, studios and art exhibits.
