DESCRIPTION:The Junior League of St. Louis (JLSL) is currently accepting&
 nbsp\;applications for its new member class. In today&rsquo\;s busy worl
 d\, women need the&nbsp\;opportunity to build new skills\, develop new f
 riendships and contribute to the&nbsp\;community. Benefits of JLSL membe
 rship include: volunteer and leadership training\,&nbsp\;opportunities w
 ith like-minded women and community leaders\, potential to servein leade
 rship positions\, insights into community needs and the chance to make a
 &nbsp\;difference in the St. Louis community.\nFounded in 1914\, JLSL me
 mbership draws women from the metropolitan St. Louis&nbsp\;area. A diver
 se organization\, the JLSL reaches out to women of all races\, religions
  and&nbsp\;national origins who demonstrate an interest in and commitmen
 t to voluntarism.&nbsp\;Women must be at least 21 years of age and resid
 e within the St. Louis metropolitan&nbsp\;area and surrounding counties.
 \nThe JLSL offers one new member class per JLSL calendar year starting i
 n September.&nbsp\;The new member course provides education and training
  about the structure of JLSL&nbsp\;and its role in the community\, as we
 ll as the opportunity to participate in &ldquo\;hands-on&rdquo\; activit
 ies\, fundraising events and numerous social activities throughout the y
 ear.&nbsp\;Successful completion of the program prepares new members for
  active membership.\nTo learn more about membership and the League\, the
