Over the past four years I've come to know Speaker Tilley as someone who built consensus. In doing so, he effectively advanced the conservative cause in a way that was inclusive, not divisive. I applaud his service to his constituents and wish him the best in his future endeavors. With the rules of the House allowing for the Speaker Pro-Tem to act in the absence of the Speaker, I do not foresee any significant impact on the remainder of the legislative calendar.

So - will we surely see another major effort to ensure that there will be no further Kenyan-born aspirants to the highest office in the land (just in case he decides to move to Missourah and run for governor)?
Bwa-Ha-Ha!
WAIT! Maybe he will make up for dissing Cardinal Nation back in 2009 and discard that Chicago cap and wear a Birdie Beak!

Politicans are becoming like college atheletic coaches, they abandon all commitments when a better offer comes along.
