UCity will be "seeking" for a while if they are looking for someone with a graduate level degree and are only going to pay hourly at $11.80. Hopefully whoever they do find to fill this position can put a tent over the circus at City Hall.

I pay more to have my lawn mowed. Why don't they spend that money to hire a qualified analyst or city manager.

I was an intern in DC for 3 months as part of the Washington Center for Politics and Journalism. I received a small stipend from which i had to live. It was financially difficult, but that internship led me to a job at UPI and eventually AP. I'm a fan of internships - they can be beneficial for the company and the intern, who for the most part is hoping he/she will get hired in the end.
