UCHS Athletes Heading to State Track Meet

The MSHSAA state championships will be held this weekend in Jefferson City.

 

The Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) state track and field championship for Class 3 and 4 schools is this weekend in Jefferson City.

University City High School athletes will compete Saturday and Sunday at Lincoln University. For directions to Lincoln, click here.

Competing students include:

  • Amani Borders — 300 hurdles, 4x200 relay, 4x400 relay
  • Kayla Heidelberg — 100 hurdles, 200, 4x100 relay, 4x200 relay
  • Chantel Bethune — 400, 4x200 relay, 4x400 relay
  • Quindara Jackson — 300 hurdles
  • Jamesha Howard — 400, 4x200 relay, 4x400 relay
  • Erika Murphy — 4/100 relay, 4/200 relay
  • Taylor Gibson — triple jump
  • Jordan Jennings — 100, 200, 4x100 relay, 4x200 relay
  • Nelson Adkins — 4/100 relay
  • Emmanuel Price — long jump, triple jump, 300 hurdles
  • Tony Newman — 200, 400
  • DeVante Washington — 4x100 relay
  • Jamour Kaid — triple jump
  • Quartez Couzart — 4x100 relay
  • Lynden Peoples — discus

Admission

Admission for students (6 and up) and adults is $7 per day. Re-entry is permitted with the proper wristband. Shuttle service is provided by Jefferson City at various satellite parking areas.
