U City Police Blotter: Robberies, Auto Theft

The department arrested 51 adults and six juveniles. There were two auto thefts and three burglaries.

An employee of Ashley Stewart exited the store with a deposit bag when a black male in his late 30s, approached and demanded belongings. The victim threw the deposit bag at the suspect, who took the bag and fled from the area. |

Person(s) unknown gained entry into the victim's residence by tampering with a window. The suspect(s) stole a jewelry box. |

The victim stated he observed a black male steal his vehicle, which was parked on the street. The victim stated as the suspect drove away, a dark colored SUV drove away at the same time. The victim's vehicle is described as a red 2003 Cadillac CTS. |

The vehicle, a 2004 Toyota Matrix, was recovered in St. Louis City. |

The victim stated she exited her residence to call police when a subject rang her doorbell and then walked to the side yard. As officers arrived to the scene, the subject exited the victim's residence. The subject gained entry through a basement window. |
The suspect, a 26 year old white male, was arrested for Burglary with items recovered. |
