U City Man Pulled Gun While Driving Through Webster Groves

He was allegedly arguing with someone in the car when he pointed gun at the victim.

 

A University City man is being charged with unlawful use of a weapon during a dispute in a car.

Ellis McMurtry, of the 7800 block of Blackberry Ave. in U City, was allegedly arguing with the victim while driving on Interstate 44 near Laclede Station Road in Webster Groves on Wednesday.

McMurtry, 68, then pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim, according to a Webster Groves Police Department report.

Bond was set at $10,000.

I'm surprised that bond was set at only $10,000. Is it because our jails are already too full? Another reason to vote Democratic? I don't think Republicans are willing to raise taxes for anything worthy of society's attention, IMO.
