The University City Lions ended the basketball season for the MICDS Rams on the Rams home court. In the Class 4, District 6 semifinals, the University City Lions defeated the host Rams, 51-49.
U. City took an an early advantage, leading 12-7 at the quarter. In the second quarter, MICDS outscored the Lions 19-11.
Robin Thompson led the way for the Rams with 16 points. Dartmouth bound Thomas Militello closed out his high school career with 10 points. Sophomore guard Rashad Lindsey had 8.
Westminster Christian Academy rolled over Clayton in the other semifinal match. The Wildcats will face U. City Friday night at 8 p.m. in the championship game.
