Welcome to Excellent Educators, a new column on University City Patch. 

Excellent Educators aims to honor those that do so much for our community — the teachers, support staff and administrators of our schools. What better day to debut this column than on National Teacher Day, right smack dab in the middle of Teacher Appreciation week?

Patch will regularly highlight a local educational staff person. To nominate an Excellent Educator, email UniversityCity@patch.com with the following information:

  • Educator's name
  • The school where he/she works
  • Subject area/specialty
  • Why he/she is so great
