The Missouri State High School Soccer Coaches Association will hold its first ever banquet and Hall of Fame induction on Saturday, Jan. 5 in Columbia.

A 12:30 p.m. luncheon is scheduled at the Cherry Hills Banquet Center in Columbia.

Eleven Missouri coaches will be inducted into the first class, along with two posthumous inductions, the late greats Ebbie Dunn (SLUH) and Bob Horgan (CBC).

Locally, St. Joseph’s Academy Coach Maureen McVey will join that class along with Terry Michler, CBC; Vince Drake, Trinity; Dave Robben, Oakville; Greg Vitello, DeSmet; Mike Villa (Vianney and Triad, IL); Vince Nowak, Francis Howell North, Rich Bahner, Sedalia Sacred Heart and Tim Richardson, Lee’s Summit North, Kansas City.

Also to be recognized will be All-American, All-Midwest, all-state and all-state academic players and coaches of the year, assistant coach of the year and the team sportsmanship honoree.
