Pedestrian Struck, Killed on Skinker Blvd.
The accident happened near the Dorchester by Forest Park.
A pedestrian was struck and killed Friday morning on Skinker Boulevard near Forest Park, Fox 2 News reports.
Police tell Fox 2 that the woman was in her 50s and was on her way to work around 6 a.m. this morning. Her belongings could be seen in the street.
The driver of the car that struck the woman stopped and is being questioned by police. Accident reconstruction crews also are investigating.
Skinker is closed in both directions. The street is expected to remain closed until Friday afternoon.

If she was parking across the street, that's a long run to get to your car. Especially in the dark at 6 a.m. It's a terrible shame.
