Moonrise Named Fourth Best Hotel in St. Louis
The honor was bestowed by U.S. News and World Reports.
In its 2012 travel issued, U.S. News and World Reports named Moonrise Hotel the fourth best hotel in the St. Louis area.
The University City hotel was topped only by the Four Seasons St. Louis, The Ritz-Carlton and The Westin St. Louis.
For the issue, U.S. News ranked 40 hotels in the St. Louis area based on "unbiased analysis of awards, expert recommendations and user ratings."
In its Moonrise review, the magazine said the following:
This luxury, boutique property is a good place to book if you're planning to bar hop in the Loop. It's in walking distance to places like the Blueberry Hill restaurant and club and the Pageant nightclub, plus the hotel's own rooftop terrace isn't a bad place to lounge all night. Many guests highest praise goes to its location, Eclipse restaurant and the ambience and view from the Rooftop Terrace Bar.
The top 10 was rounded out by the Chase Park Plaza, Hyatt Regency at the Arch, Omni Majestic Hotel, St. Louis Union Station Marriott, Renaissance St. Louis Grand and HoteLumiere.
