Mid-County Readers Say Cicero's has the Best Italian Food
A fixture in the Loop since 1977, the restaurant serves up delicious entrees, a wide variety of beer and live music.
Cicero's is the winner of this week's Mid-County Food Fight for best Italian food.

Cicero's Restaurant in University City is the winner of this week's Food Fight, in which we asked readers for their choice for the best Mid-County Italian restaurants.
Cicero's won with 44 percent of the vote among the four finalists. The results among the other finalists were:
- Acero (Maplewood), 27 percent.
- Farotto's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria (Rock Hill), 16 percent.
- Amici's Restaurant (Kirkwood), 11 percent.
Voting in our Italian Fight poll started Monday morning and ended at 5 p.m. Friday afternoon.
