Man Shot Victim Three Times After Walking Up to Group, Police Say
The victim survived, but was seriously injured after being shot in the arm and one in the hand, police said.
A man faces criminal charges after police said he shot a man three times Aug. 25 in the 6800 block of Olive Boulevard in University City.
Maleke Johnson, 18, of the 5700 block of Albia Terrace in Jennings, was charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action.
University City Police said in a report that Johnson approached a group of people in a parking lot at about 4:25 p.m. Aug. 25 and shot the victim three times, twice in the arm and once in the hand. The victim was seriously injured, according to the report.
Bond was set at $100,000.
