Man Busted For Burglary Was Reportedly Making Breakfast
U City resident tells KMOV she came home and found a burglar frying bacon in her kitchen

University City police say a man charged with breaking into a U City home earlier this week could be involved in at least one other burglary.
According to U City police, a resident on the 6600 block of Crest found Damon Petty, 36, of St. Louis inside her home. And he was reportedly doing something rather usual - cooking. The resident told KMOV that Petty was frying bacon in her kitchen.
Petty is charged with 1st degree burglary.
