KMOV Reports U City High Student Shot Today
A man in a wheelchair was apparently detained by police.
University City Police are investigating after a male student was shot while walking in U City on Tuesday.
According to KMOV, the victim was shot while walking home from summer school at University City High School. The shooting occurred in an alley along the 7200 block of Shaftesbury.
Police told KMOV that two gunshots were heard.
Witnesses at the scene said a man in a wheelchair was detained by police.
